Directional Influence

Relationships rarely affect both people equally — Directional Influence shows, side by side, what each person brings to the other rather than collapsing the pair into one shared number.

What is Directional Influence?

Some astrological contacts point one way: a planet of yours might fall in a sensitive part of your partner's chart without the reverse being true, and certain Saju clashes press on one chart more than the other. Because these effects are asymmetric, this section deliberately offers no single per-side total — that would average away the very thing it is trying to show. Instead it surfaces the specific signals flowing in each direction so you can read them individually.

How TriAstra Uses Directional Influence

TriAstra reads directional signals that are inherently one-sided — Saju Hyeong (punishment) and Chung (clash) relationships, which act per chart, alongside Western angular-house overlays where one person's planets activate the other's most prominent houses — and lays out each person's contribution separately.

What Directional Influence Means for You

Read this section as a map of give-and-take: it tells you who tends to energize, challenge, or steady whom, which is often more useful for everyday dynamics than a single combined score.
